Did you/do you plan to get your makeup done for your shower?

Silly question, just wondering. For my wedding I did but it was my makeup trial. I am trying to decide if it is totally ridiculous to spend money on getting my makeup done for my shower or if it is the norm...TY

I think I'll do my own and get my hair blown out.. idk.. I don't want to look too made up either..

I wouldn't even think about doing it. I am going to throw my dress onand be on my way.....I dont wear makeup on a daily basis and figure I will go how I look everyday.

I'm getting my hair blown out because I basically put it up in a ponytail everyday. But I will do my own make-up.

Yeah..I need a trim so I will get that and have it blown and leave it at that. I figured it was silly to get makeup done lol

I'm not getting hair or make-up done. My shower is a bruch at 11 am so I don't want the added stress of appointments early in the morning. I'm just hoping it won't be a humid day and my hair will be managable.

I chose other because I do not know anything about my shower, where, when, etc. Im just praying DH doesnt bring me in sweatpants to my shower!! I am due in Nov. so once Sept. hits I just plan on being on "high alert" and always trying to look my best when I go out! lol

I didn't, but my shower was really laid back. It was in my house and I didn't even wear shoes for most of it.

I picked other. My sister does hair and she's really good with makeup too, so she did both for me.

you're lucky I wore powder and lipgloss for my shower, let alone get my makeup done...haha

I definitely am but DH and I are hosting our own "Baby Celebration". We're expecting our first and are doing it big-about 80 people at a catering hall...dancing, drinks ect.

If it were more low key, I would probably do my own make-up and have my hair professionally done.

Haha my NY shower was the day after a good friend's wedding. Most guests were hungover and I was struggling with staying awake. My MD shower is this upcoming Sunday. I would like my sister to help with hair and makeup.

I plan on getting my hair done, but I'll do the makeup myself.

I did my own but had my hair blown out.

I hated the way I looked while pregnant - my face was so bloated. I didn't want to spend $$ on make-up, because I knew nothing they would do would make me like what I saw (can youtell I HATED being pregnant )

My girlfriend hit the Clinique counter in the mall before hers and they did it for free...she bought a lip gloss.

nope, i had a hard enough time letting someone do my m/u for my wedding!
i also like the way i do my own hair better than my stylist (who i've been going to for 8 years!)
