Did you and DH agree or disagree to
find out the sex? I dont want to know and DH does want to know. I got a little out of control and told him that i wont tell him when the level II is just so he cant find out.
Why cant men just comply?
Did anyone have this dilema too?

I THOUGHT DH wanted to know -- but he says he doesn't care -- so we have decided together not to find out.
Would he be able to keep it to himself if he found out? Why does he want to know -- for shopping and decorating reasons? Because he is a major planner? Because he has no patience? I think it would depend also why he wanted to find out...

No we were both in agreement that we wanted to know. It's killing us that we don't know the sex of this baby yet. He/she just won't cooperate even after 2 sonos.

my friend did..and she pulled rank.
My dh brought up knowing 1x and I said no, I didn't want my other kids to focus on the c-section--but rather their sexes.
Why would he benefit...he can't buy anything if u do not know, can't tell anyone..nothing.
You can't agree so u win! I think its not worth making hormonal mommy unhappy.

Originally, we BOTH decided not to find out. I wanted to be surprised. Then when I had scheduled the level II, Dh said "can we find out the sex when we go" I was  and I asked him why. He said it would make it easier to decorate the room 
we flipped a coin, he won, we are having a girl

From the moment I pee'd on the stick, he wanted to know the sex. I didnt want to find out so I told him he could know but not tell me. The closer I got to the Level II, the harder it was to now know. We went in and once the sono started, there was no doubt what it was. Before she asked us if we wanted to know, I said "I see a winkie!" The tech confirmed... There was just no now knowing at that point. This kid aint shy!!!!

For our first he didn't want to find out, i did.
I told him, nicely of course, well i am finding out, if you want to be surprised you are more than welcome to wait. Oh did i add, i told him i would torture him in the meantime
In the end, he realized he is much as a planner as me and needed to know too.
We are in complete agreement for this one, we are finding out.

We were back & forth on whether we wanted to find out but both agreed not to. I have to say, though, I did leave it up to my husband, ultimately, because I really didn't care either way.

For our first he wanted to find out, but I didn't and since it's my body, we didn't. When she was born he said that he was glad we waited, he was so excited to be able to call everyone from the hospital to let them know it was a girl and she was healthy.
With our second neither wanted to find out.

He said that he will find out and not tell anyone, but i know he will make subtle remarks or tease me, so i dont think that will work. Plus i wanted to share that moment with him. He is not a major planner. He really cant give me a reason why he wants to find out, he just says because he wants to know. We have a while to go to change our minds, but i hope he changes his cause i dont think im changing mine.

DH wanted to know, I didn't. He was upset that I wouldn't find out for a few weeks. Then got over it.
It was the one of the only times I could be surprised about something. When he thought about it more, he understood.
With the second baby I was surprised to find out that he didn't want to find out beforehand.

I have always said I would find out the second I could, and we are going to find out definitely. In the beginning, he said if it were up to him, he would rather us not know and be surprised. But, now that we're going to hopefully find out, I think he can't wait either!! I think he was a tough talker in the beginning but I think he's just as eager as me to find out!!

At first DH wanted to know, I didnt'...I won
I think he's happy we didnt find out. Its fun keeping everyone in suspense, including us. I want a Suprise at the end of pushing and I think not knowing may give me more incentive to push harder..I will be so anxioius.

I think finding out the sex was the only thing we both agreed on and wanted to know. It just makes getting things ready for the baby easier.
