Did the mommy makeover...
Was very happy meeting with Dr. Romanelli and his staff that I decided to go through with the tummy tuck and breast augmentation. Going with the silicone gel implants. I'm very excited yet nervous. Pre-op surgery is Oct 26 and surgery scheduled for Nov 8.

Re: Doing the mommy makeover...
Thanks! I will keep everyone informed. It was a tough decision to make since I felt sort of "vain" going through with it. I'm a petite girl, 5'3 120lbs but my stomach is so stretchy and flabby and Dr. Romanelli said my muscles had separated, which i didn't notice until he pointed them out. My breasts I was never happy with, small 34b, so I just want to go to a C. I'm hoping to go back to pre-baby status!

You sound like me, to the T!
The frame, size and same size breasts.
Maybe I need to consider this!

Re: Doing the mommy makeover...
lol I always wanted bigger boobs than what i have, but was scared of results and looking "fake". My stomach after ds made me very self conscious, though with clothing you can't tell, and everyone says I can still wear bikini, but they haven't seen the stretchy skin. I was convinced at the dr that my boobs would be natural looking, just a little bigger and I can't wait to see my stomach!

Re: Doing the mommy makeover...
I would love to get my loose belly skin removed, and although i wouldn't get implants a lift would be nice. I am so jealous! Definitely let us know how it goes! Sending you FM.

Re: Doing the mommy makeover...
I haven't had kids yet- so I have just had my boobs done
I went from a 34 B to a 34 D and the results looks very natural even with saline implants
good luck!

Re: Doing the mommy makeover...
I had two c-sections and also was in a similar situation. At the time of my tummy tuck I was a size 0, and 5'4, but I had loose skin. I am so happy I did it! I love the results, and I had my boobs done prior to my tummy tuck. So I guess you can say I had the mommy makeover as well.
Congrats. Please FM me if you have any questions! And I found the recovery for the tummy tuck was a piece of cake compared to my c-sections. Just stay on top of your pain management, don't be a hero, take those pain meds every x amount of hours so as to not let the pain sneak up on you.

Re: Did the mommy makeover...
I'm home! I still can't believe I did this. Went in Nov 8 8am and was done in 3 hrs. I stayed overnight at the clinic and was cared for round the clock by 2 wonderful nurses, and dh who stayed most of the time. I went with 350 cc silicone "gummy" implants. I have no idea what my final size will be, and I'm sooo sore and swollen. I'm not going to lie, my tummy tuck is killing me, I'm hunched and just sitting and reclining and relaxing as much as I can. This is mostly giving me back aches. I've had 1 drain and was removed yesterday. I've taken "peeks" under my belly binder and I'm sooo happy with how tight my belly looks! I can't wait for the swelling and pain to go away. I took off a whole month from work so I can recover, but I know it's not easy with my 4 yr old, though he's in pre-k during the week. I'm up and walking around a lot, and today was the 1st day I haven't had pain meds at all, but i was taking it easy on the couch all day. I actually drove myself to the doctor's office yesterday, which I shouldn't have, it was painful, but I couldn't wait to have the drain removed. I'm welcome to answer any questions. Pics when I fully recover!

Re: Doing the mommy makeover...
Congrats! I had a tummy tuck and breast reduction with Dr. Romanelli almost 3 years ago. I am 5"4 and about 125lbs. My bra size was a 34DD and now is a 34B. I had 3 hernias and loose skin on my stomach.
It was the best thing I have ever done for myself, hands down. Do I look like a super model? No! But I am much more comfortable in my own skin!
Relax and enjoy!
