Did i do the right thing???
Okay here's the situation, we have our co-op on the market. We're super flexible about showing it whenever, we only ask that we know about every appointment and when the key is given to a realtor. So, the first time there was an issue, i got home from work and there was a RE card on our table. So i called our agent and asked if someone came to look at the place, and someone did, and we were never notified or asked if we would be home. They said it wouldn't happen again. Last month, my husband was home from work, and all of a sudden someone uses the key and comes right in to show the place. We had it out with our agent and that its unacceptable to just give out the key and not find out if we will be home. They said it wouldn't happen again. Last night, 8:30, the same thing happens again!! I wrote an email to my agent saying that they need to lower the commission to make up for their 3 errors... do you think that is acceptable to ask?

Re: Did i do the right thing???
check your contract with this realtor. I think that could void the contract.
It's unacceptable to bring people over without permission. It's a safety issue and I would not be ok with it at all.
I would fire the realtor.

Re: Did i do the right thing???
You should talk to the broker not the agent- or whomever the manager of your realtor's office is- that is highly unethical and I know it would have been against my company's policies back when I was in re
