Did anyone see Cinderella yet?
Trying to decide if I should take my 4 yr old (5 this may).
I really want to see it lol. It will be her first movie theatre experience.
Is it to old for her?
Update... so glad we went. It's was really good. She loved it too. Some scary parts for her and a little loud, she doesn't like loud noises, but overall she loved it!!!

Did anyone see Cinderella yet?
I took my 4 year old today. I liked it, and so did she. I do think she was a little confused because there were no songs lol. There were dozens of little girls in the theater. Go and have fun!

We took our 3.5 year old today and we really liked it. She's been to a lot of movies already, but she sat and paid attention. I think it was made really well.

Just left. My DD is the same age as yours.
She liked it ( LOVED the Frozen short in the beginning). There were parts of the movie where she lost interest , as did a lot of the kids in the theater.But overall she enjoyed it. It was definitely geared toward older kids and I actually enjoyed it myself.

Not so much scary. But when they change after midnight back into pumpkins and animals. That part is a little scary and Daria nd loud. There were a few other loud parts that she was kinda scared of. It she doesn't like anythjng loud even at home so if say she's rare lol. Of course there are mean parts. But overall not to scary.

No, we went yesterday with a 5 and two 7 year olds. My daughter's friend scares easily and found a few parts sad, but not scary. They all loved it.

I didn't think any of it was scary at all. Even when they change back into animals. Sad, yes, scary no. I would not take a very young child though (i.e. 3ish maybe?) as I think they would be bored, since it's not an animated film.

Have to say.. the place got wild when Frozen Fever started.. but after it was over AJ said "So anyway, when is Cinderella starting" LOL

I saw it last night. I thought it was very good. I do have to comment that the children in the theater that were younger (5 and under) seemed to get bored. I even saw a few asleep.

AJ is 6 and was captivated.. she curled up on her little booster thing with her blanket leaned over and snacked on popcorn so tied up I moved the box and she nearly ate a napkin. LOL
But as I've said.. Cinderella is her princess. She was crying when Cinderella got her shoes. She said "Its so pretty" hahaha. And the wedding gown is officially burned into my daughter's mind as "THE" best wedding dress ever.

Definitely depends on the child though. My daughter is 3.5 and she sat perfectly fine, ate snacks and paid attention. She can recall all the parts of the movie and is still talking about it after seeing it on Saturday.

My kids are older, 5 and 8 and they enjoyed it. My 8 year old really liked but my 5 year old got a little restless. I think that younger children can enjoy it but I definitely think it is geared towards older kids. I actually made the comment to DH during the movie because I noticed a lot of the much younger kids in the movie theater seemed bored. I think it's perfect for grade school aged kids.

Yes's is almost 5 and def got bored at some parts. She asked to go home. But I then pulled out the mms after the popcorn and she was fine and at taht point it was the ball so she was Interested again. There was a younger girl 3 ish that got s Areca nd cried when they were changing back to pumpkins but over all not to scary.

Did anyone see Cinderella yet?
We took DD and she turns 4 this Friday. This was the first time she has ever been to a movie theater. She gets squirmy and distracted when we watch movies at home so I knew she would probably do the same in the theater.
She really liked Frozen Fever and liked Cinderella but was bored at times. She was distracted with eating the candy and popcorn - so that helped.
Overall, she did well and I will probably bring her to see the new animated movie Home when it comes out next week.
I do think Cinderella was geared towards older kids but it was a good story and there weren't any scary parts.
I enjoyed the movie!

^^ yep each kid is different. AJ's been to movies since very young. She's always done exceptionally well. Only movie she didn't sit well was with Croods when it got scary. And the first How to Train your Dragon. Otherwise no issue. Depends on the movie, how it relates to her and if she'd napped LOL. When she was younger we made a big deal about movie going (not to her) and how we'd plan for them. I don't plan on wasting my money on a ticket not used or half seen.
