I dont know if its related to the csection or the pg or neither. Anyone else notice something similar?

Re: Did anyone notice changes in their digestion since giving birth? TMI

I could have worte this email myself. I think it must have something to do with it. My entire life I have been "backed up", however, since I gave brith...not a chance. I have been trying to eat more fiber to regulate everything. It works sometimes.

Yep! I have heartburn now. My Dr said pregnancy moves around all your organs(and they may never be in the same spot again!) so things may change

Did you have a csection? I always used to be backed up...now I have the reverse issue.

I actually just read an old post/thread about this...someone suggested getting tested for a bacteria that we could have gotten in the hospital. I just made an appt with my GI dr to see b/c something just isn't right and I need confirmation that all is ok. I shouldn't have left this go so long without seeing a dr, b/c it's very odd for me. I thought it would just go away and that it was likely normal, we shall see.

yes...csection

I have IBS so it was not great to start with.

It took me 6-7 months PP to feel I was back to normal. By that I mean, back to what it was before being PG and the c-section.

Yes! I thought it was from the antibiotic they gave me in my IV at the hospital after my c-section, but maybe it was from hospital bacteria. It's been over three years and I'm better than I was, but still not back to normal.

So you asked the dr? What did they tell you, what would cause this if normal?

Not to be gross but when you do go, is it what it used to be? I have to go every morning, so bad that I have to run to the bathroom. I never had this before...I used to be able to hold it (and I am talking about #2). I just need to know everything is ok, and that it's not a bacterial infection.

when i need to go, i gotta go. i can't hold it for too long. but, it's not loose stool. it's healthy, normal poop.
