Did anyone not "feel anything" when they got their BFP?
Mid week last week, I was having heavy cramping and my uterus felt like it was being stretched a bit. I got my BFP yesterday (okay, and today, too! ) but the cramping has subsided in the past few days and is inconsistent. I have no nausea, no food aversions, no sore boobs, and I am not more tired than usual. No normal PG symptoms. I'm worried this isn't normal and something isn't right Anyone else feel like me when they got their BFP?

I am sure you are fine... most of the symptoms don't really kick in until you are like 6 weeks or so...
I had sore boobs and some cramps on and off-- but I was also on progesterone.

i had very sore boobs, but i always get that from the day i "O" until AF arrives so it wasnt anything out of the ordinary
only reason i even tested was because i came home and fell asleep and I am not a napper - I was 9 dpo at the time

Re: Did anyone not "feel anything" when they got their BFP?
I didn't have sore boobs until 6 weeks. My nausea started almost immediately, but I didn't have any symptoms prior to my BFP except for some cramping. Some women are lucky and don't have any symptoms. You may be one of the lucky ones or your symptoms may start to kick in soon. Don't worry if you don't feel anything now or if your symptoms come and go.

Re: Did anyone not "feel anything" when they got their BFP?
When I first found out I was pregnant, I had to pee every 5 minutes. Now I have no pregnancy symptoms at all. My pregnant friend said she started feeling symptoms a bit later in the pregnancy, not in the beginning.

I guess I shouldn't complain too much I'll regret it later if I am stuck with morning sickness or some other lovely symptom!!

Re: Did anyone not "feel anything" when they got their BFP?
I was an IVF BFP too and I had NO symptoms..no sore boobs,no cramping, nada! I even spotted for a week. The only thing that is different now at 16 weeks is my lack of desire to EVER eat and my need for maternity pants haha.
Good luck and try to relax a bit!!!

Thanks, Jen. I am glad to hear that my experience sounds similar to yours. I am trying my hardest to relax (I promise!), it's just very difficult. It took a while to get here and a lot of hard work, that it's hard to believe this is REAL. I'll feel better after my beta on Friday!

Re: Did anyone not "feel anything" when they got their BFP?
I felt absolutely nothing for the longest time. It always worried me because I had no symptoms. If it weren't for my BFP and the sonograms I wouldn't even had known I was pregnant.

Re: Did anyone not "feel anything" when they got their BFP?
I really had no symptoms other than sore boobs.
Needless to say I too took more than the 1 pregnancy test to make sure it was really true.
I never had nausea or much of any other symptom until my third trimester.
I know it can be stressful to read about how everyone else is feeling and wonder why that is not the same for you!

Re: Did anyone not "feel anything" when they got their BFP?
me...
I felt NOTHING
I sorta felt like I was having my AF at the right time and all.. then it all sort of went away (which happens for me) then I got a simple dizzy spell (which is NOT like me) and I test and got my BFP
Haven't had any symptoms since then.. No cramping, swelling, food issues (other than not wanting to eat about mid-1st tri) no round ligment pains .. NOTHING..
I'm 34weels now and still feel pretty much fine.. no trouble sleeping or anything.
It got really hard around 8-12weeks because i seriously felt like i wasn't pregnant at all!
good luck

Re: Did anyone not "feel anything" when they got their BFP?
its going to be a roller coaster for you. You are going to analyze everything! I dont think I had consistent cramping all day , every day but I cant remember for sure. I am sure its normal.

Re: Did anyone not "feel anything" when they got their BFP?
I had cramping and sore boobs from the very beginning! Morning sickness didn't kick in till 6 weeks. But that was just me- each and every pregnancy is different. try not to over analyze- you'll drive yourself crazy! If you have some symptoms, such as cramping you freak cause you think something is wrong. When people lack symptoms they freak- thinking maybe somethings wrong. I;m sure you're fine. I know many people who never had a pg symptoms throughout!

Re: Did anyone not "feel anything" when they got their BFP?
I didn't even know I was pregnant until I was a week and a half late, so I finally tested. So I had zero symptoms. Everyone is different.
