Did anyone develop knee problems after having DC?

Since I had James, my knees are totally shot. I can't get off the couch or climb the stairs in my house without wincing in pain. It feels like someone is grinding a cheese grater in both of my knees.

I'm calling my doc tomorrow, and I'm pretty sure he's going to recommend PT which I absolutely do NOT have time for. I'm going back to work the week after Thanksgiving and have an almost 3-month old.

Did this happen to anyone else?

I used to have that and found it was a combination of my joints being out of wack after pregnancy and the way I positioned mysef while nursing. I put my feet up on the coffee tabe, which (NOT being an ottoman!) wasn't the right height and forced my knees backwards for a few hours a day. Once I stopped that, my knees got much better.

Yes! It happened to me out of no where a few months PP and then disappeared one day shortly after.

Ok - glad to know that it's happened to other people. Over the past few days it's just gotten ridiculous! Chat Icon Chat Icon

It did get pretty bad and just when I decided I should probably see a doctor (after weeks of DH telling me to) it disappeared and I haven't had any problems since. I think my joints were loose from prego and I was holding Chloe a lot at that time. Bad combo.. my body must have adjusted.
