Did any non-RSVPers come?
I invited all of DS' class. I was not given a class list with numbers. The teacher just gave me a list of names and I sent the invitations in with DS. Even though the RSVP date has not passed, I am trying to do some planning and not one person has responded yet. Since I really do not have a way to contact these people, I was wondering if anyone had kids who did not RSVP, show up anyway?

No one showed up without RSVPing. However, I did get late RSVPs (1-2 days prior to the party). I could not believe people were RSVPing the day before!

Last year, I had 1 kid who did not reply show up using the traditional RSVP wording.
This year I wrote "Please reply if you plan to attend." I'm hoping this will work... (DD's party is coming up soon, too.)

We just sent through this last weekend with DDs party. I have 4 people that never RSVPed and didnt show.
Ironically she just got an invite today for one of their parties.

This doesn't work, believe me, I've tried it. We just had 4 that didn't respond either way. I even now put an email address on there created specifically for the party thinking that would be easier, but nothing. I think it's rude, but what are you gonna do? I just won't invite them next time. Sad for the kids that their parents are rude.

6 kids from my DC class did not RVSP and they did not show. I did have extra favors just in case. Also the week of my DC party he received 2 invites from 2 of the kids that did not RSVP. I was so shocked. You cannot RVSP to my party but you can give us a invite to your kids. I even gave a email on the invite because I know I sometimes remember late at night and don't want to call. Some people have some nerve.
