Diarrhea 2+ days in 2.5 year old TMI
We have never had this with her. Initially I thought maybe she ate something but now I'm starting to worry. It's not like she is running to bathroom but when she has to go, it's diarrhea. I thought it was starting to clear up but now it seems to be back like it was day 1.
She doesn't have a fever, and is acting normal. She's also drinking/peeing.
The only thing I can think of she picked up something from my moms pool? She lives in a coop in long beach.
Has anyone's LO had this? How long until you worry worry?
I am calling the PED tomorrow first thing.

We went through this recently with DS (3.5). He had no fever and he still had an appetite, but complained of a bellyache. We took him to the ped after 10 days who said it was a virus. We cut out dairy, did the BRAT diet (more or less) and gave him a probiotic (powder- it goes in water). It took 2 weeks for him to get back to normal. I hope your DD has a quicker recovery!

Definitely cut out milk if you haven't already. DS had gotten sick around that age. The worst, nastiest poops ever -but after the first bout, he acted fine but he was just waking up every day with pajamas full of diarrhea. Md of course all the pooping was giving him diaper rash. :(. When we finally talked to the ped, they asked if we had stopped milk and we said no b/c we didn't know. So we stopped it-gave him almond milk instead and it went away.
Good luck - hope its something easy like that.

Stop milk, try for a super plain diet (BRAT), etc.
My daughter got this not too long ago and it lasted more than 7 days - it was horrible...somedays worse than others. She was in a good mood and acting normal just pooping a lot!

Start a probiotic it probably was viral and can take some time for the bowels to go back to normal. My Boys have loose stool almost all the time and the ped told us to use probiotics and they help

Thanks! She usually takes a probiotic but we have slacked on it lately. She had a yogurt for dinner last night and then a probiotic smoothie.
She's not a big milk drinker but LOVES (I mean LOVES) cheese..... So we are cutting back on that. I'm not sure if its dairy related since she when she had a bottle she drank a lot of milk. Also, since she's not a meat eater we usually turn to yogurt/cheese/smoothies for a protein source.
