Diaper Leakage
DD is only 5 weeks old and has leaked through her diaper last night and the night before. We have been using Huggies size 1-2. I went up to the size 2 last night and she still leaked. I originally wanted to use the Pampers brand but DD got a rash from them or so I thought that was what the rash was from so I gave away the 600 Pampers diapers I had bought and took out of the box. SHould I try Luvs or should I try the Pampers again? Any suggestion.

Re: Diaper Leakage
Everytime Charlie starts to leak at night, I have to go up a size. Last night he did and it was because the front of his diaper was put on too low. Could that be the problem?

Re: Diaper Leakage
my DS leaks only when we use Pampers, so we have been using Huggies...
i agree with the above poster - check to see if they are "snug" enough in the front...

Re: Diaper Leakage
That happened to Cailen when he wasn't wearing the right size - even though they seemed to fit perfectly - you may want to try 3's - they will swallow her, but they will work!!!

Re: Diaper Leakage
I have heard that put then in 2 layers of clothes, one a onsie and then the outfit and that helps contain it , so to speak.... This is what my SIL does, she says it helps.

Re: Diaper Leakage
I've been having trouble with leakage too--several times a day and I think we're putting them on the right way.
Maybe we need to move up a size and if that doesn't work switch to Pampers? I'm using Huggies right now.

Re: Diaper Leakage
It happened again....I don't think it's the way I put her diaper on because I make sure it's snug. My sis is coming over and I asked her to bring me a small pack of Luvs to try out. I'm scared the Pampers are going to give her a rash again because they have a scent. Do the Luvs have scent also?

Re: Diaper Leakage
I use Luvs and have only had a leak once, but that's because her diaper was soaked with about 3lbs of urine

Re: Diaper Leakage
LUVS are better now with the stretchy - so it may be worth a try. We tried CVS brand when DS got a rash and they were fine - except the sticky isn't very good for an active 2 year old.
have you tried diaper doubles?

Re: Diaper Leakage
I had more leakage problems with huggies than pampers. I'd try pampers.
