Diaper Bag dilema...
Ive registered for 2 diaper bags, but really cant make up my mind. I want something that is easily organizable and easy to clean. But not too huge or too small. No children other than due March 6. I like the messenger style bags. Any suggestions are much appreciated.

Re: Diaper Bag dilema...
Personally, I found the less pockets and compartments the better the bag believe it or not. I went through like 3 when DS was an infant before I fell in LOVE with my Vera Bradley.
Heres my thing with compartments, they knock down the individual spaces into tiny ones instead of leaving one big space. When its compartmentalized you cant shove blankets and toys in them to carry along with you, plus a change of clothes and all the other things a baby needs.
However, if you are looking for a great organized bag, try the JuJuBe line, they are FANTASTIC. Now that DS is two we downgraded to a much smaller bag, the JuJuBe BeSmall and its perfect! The JuJuBe line has so many great features! You can go to their site and watch demo videos of the bags.

Re: Diaper Bag dilema...
I love my Carters bag.......it has a bunch of pockets all around the outside which I just love!! I can shove so much stuff in there. The inside is big and roomy. I started with a messenger style bag and I HATED it! It was too narrow to hold everything I needed it to.
My diaper bag is similar to the one below only it's all chocolate brown.

GAP has a skip hop one on sale now for $35 - I just bought it, but still thinking of others. So hard to know what you'll like until you start using it. Both bags look nice.

Re: Diaper Bag dilema...
there is nothing wrong with having more than one...it can be very helpful actually! get a messanger style one and then think about having one that is more like a purse or something.

Re: Diaper Bag dilema...
Something that was important to me is to find one with a wide top that fits in the basket of the stroller with the zipper facing out so you can reach in and get things as needed and not need to drag the whole bag out.
Alternatively, if the strap fits snug around the handle of the stroller and does tip it, that would work.
This is on my must have list for a diaper bag this time.

Re: Diaper Bag dilema...
I ended up returning the original diaper bag I registered for and bought the same one pictured in pink and brown but bought it in blue and brown. I also registered for and received the Columbia trekster diaper bag for DH and a smaller Eddie Bauer diaper bag for short trips.
