DH/SO Pet Peeves
what little things does your DH or SO do that drives you insane??
my DH writes all his notes on post-its. there are a million all over the apartment. he also cuts out stuff from the newspaper. i have so many post-its that i can probably use it as wallpaper and cover ALL of the walls in the apartment.

He shuts the lights out on me. Then we replaced the bulbs with energy savers and he has calmed down a bit.

He hangs his bathrobe on one of the drawer knobs on his bureau. So I got him a hook for it, and now he puts his robe on the hook and hangs his jacket on the bureau.

When he comes home he always puts his keys on the floor. I don't think he knows where the key hook is located..
He also likes to throw his worn clothes on the floor....I can go on...

When he is getting dressed in the morning he leaves hangers from his dry cleaning all over the bedroom on the bed etc. I know I sound like mommy dearest by no more wire hangers in my bedroom PLEEEEAAAASSSEEE!!! I have told him a million times and it hasn't helped.

Perfect timing- I was just complaining on the parenting board.
His OBSESSION with the Yankees. He is so mad about tonight's loss that our evening together is now ruined. This is after he was away all week.

The cover to the hamper must be too heavy for him to lift because he just can't seem to do it and ALL his dirty clothes are on the floor. And I mean a ton of dirty clothes in a pile right next to the hamper.

-clips his nails in the living room so i find nails in the carpet 
-leaves his pajamas hanging over the railing in the hallway
-drops his book on the floor next to the bed when he's done reading at night, and then leaves it there when he gets up/leaves in the morning... how much effort would it be to put it on the nighttable instead of the floor?
i could go on and on...

Uses grooming implements and then takes them with him! ex: we had 2 pairs of cuticle/eyebrow scissors, one long, one short. I go to trim my brows...where are they? I call him, he's got BOTH!!! His reason? One gets the hairs in his nose and one REALLY gets the hairs in his nose...um, you can keep them.
So I get myself a new pair...can't find them. Apparently, they're really sharp and he likes them!
Then there is this...The whole apartment is a hamper. He strips down...clothing on the floor of the living room, jacket in the kitchen, socks on the couch...drives me nuts.
I could go on. I love him, but I really wish he'd take just a minute out of his busy life  and just clean up his messes.

I have to admit it ruined my evening too. I was so disgusted I turned the game off. I just couldn't watch!!
My DH looses his temper so quickly over the littlest things, but the one that drives me the most crazy is when he does it in the HOV lane. He wants to drive around everyone. I have realized more than likely I will be paying that $300 fine for the next 40 years

My biggest pet peeve is how he's so anal! I think he has serious OCD when it comes to putting things away. Drives me insane sometimes that my empty cup will be in the dishwasher before I can even refill it!

OMG, mine too. It makes me insane, he makes me feel like I'm a slob. He's a neat freak, but to the point where it's ridiculous at times.

He's completely obsessive. Current obsession is talking about shaving or waxing his chest hairs. I told him to go get them waxed so I can hear him screaming like a little girl.

Yes!!!!! I just don't like doing certain things right away, like making the bed the minute I get out of it and it makes me feel bad that he's always doing this stuff cause I'm a procrastinator but hey, it could be worse

My DH does this too
He leaves all his dresser draws open in the morning after he is done getting dress. I mean seriously how long does it take to close them before you leave the room.
ETA: He will pile dish on top of dish without ever thinking about cleaning them. He will actually use every cup in the cabinet
I could go on lol

He is a tapper, Its all those years of playing the drums, he taps on anything, my head, my a$$ the table. He just taps away. When I started dating him I told him I was going to tattoo Pearl on my a$$ (his drum maker). It is very annoying.
