DH is driving me nuts!! ( Just a vent)

Grrr. I'm grumpy because I'm due tomorrowand barring a miracle, I just don't see this kid coming. I love being pregnant, but I have definitely hit the done mark. DH and I have been catching up on old episodes of Bones on Netflix and when the last episode ended I asked if he wanted to watch another one. He said no, he was getting pretty tired. I was like well then go upstairs to bed. He's like no I'm not ready for bed, I'll just take a little nap on the couch -maybe I won't be able to get sleep tonight. Inmy head I'm like gee thanks for reminding me that I'm not in labor. Well within 5 minutes he is snoring on the couch while I'm trying to watch tv. He stops for a second and I'm like hey, you're snoring why don't you go up to bed. He's like no I'm comfy here.

Dude. I'm not getting up and going into a different room. For one of the first times all day, my 40 week pregnant butt is actually comfy. Get the heck out of the living room so I can watch tv in peace!!!

they just don't get it....it's hard not to get resentful when you're asking for something so simple.....

I harbor lots of resentment sometimes (not REAL resentment, but a strong dislike) when I realize he's half responsible here, but literally has done nothing in the past 9 months as far as being pregnant. What's he done? Set up a crib? I'M MAINTAINING A LIFE FORM INSIDE OF ME!


I've said it before, and I will say it again. when they act like this, try my method: sit on him. I sit on my husband every day now whenever i get annoyed. It makes me feel better. No one wants a big ol' pregnant lady sitting on them!!

Ugh, hang in there. Being done is the worst!
