If it's been like this, go to the ear doctore. They'll clean it out and you'll swear you will hear things you never thought existed!

this happened to me when I flew a few weeks ago and it hurt so bad - the nurse told me to take a decongestant....it really helped. Good luck!

This happened to me a few weeks ago when I flew too. I didn't think I'd ever hear normally again and then it finally just cleared up weeks later.

This happened to me a few yrs ago, i went to First Med after trying everything...they flushed it out, and i was as good as new, it doesn't hurt at alll, hope you feel better.

This happened to DH a couple months ago. He kept asking the doctor to drain but the DR kept telling him there was nothing to drain. He tried allergy meds and decongestants and nothing worked. Finally he used nasal spray (in his nose, not his ear) and it cleared up immediately.

I just went to the ENT for this!
My Eustation tube is clogged, caused me not to hear well out of one ear too! nothing they can do (surgery or drain it, my tube doesn't let air out, like when you fly and it pops, mine doesn't pop).
They did give me Nasonex though & it has helped!
