DH is driving me crazy...
I love him dearly, he's an amazing husband and is so pumped for a little one..... however..................
He refuses to let me explain to him how my body works when it comes to TTC. Let me explain.......
If we BD on CD6, two days later he's asking me to POAS. He gets so annoyed when I say no and refuses to understand why I won't waste the pee, the time, the emotion, and the money (those suckers can get expensive).
I totally understand and appreciate his desire to let whatever happens happens (that is his whole approach to TTC) but in turn, he needs to understand and appreciate my desire to keep in tune with my body and my cycle in this crazy journey we're taking.
I'm just venting, but is anyone in the same boat as me???

lol thats cute that he's excited- maybe get a $1 store one and pee on it and then try and explain to him about how long it takes to know. Maybe he needs a better visual

Maybe I'll try that.
I've asked him if he wants me to explain why if I pee on the stick too early it will come up BFN. He doesn't want to hear it.
And I don't know about anyone else, but even peeing on a stick too early knowing it will be a BFN (and then seeing the BFN) still hurts a smidge.

Re: DH is driving me crazy...
DH isnt really interested in the details lol butttttt I want him to know because he "should know"... we are taking the next step and ttc so I feel like he should just have an idea of what goes on. He'll ask me to do something and I'll say- only if you listen to me for 5 minutes about something ttc related and he'll listen
For ex: He wanted to do everything natural and didnt see the need in me buying OPKs or temping. I was finally able to teach him that there is a small window for us to get pregnant and we need to know when I O.
Now he doesnt say anything when my digital bbt is beeping while hes sleeping, doesnt say a word about my buying pre-seed and he even went to the dollar tree and went looking for OPks for me (with no luck) but was able to buy HPTs for me
I think its so cute that now hes involved and I think its important for them to listen and try to understand. Dont do it all in one day- just say a few things here and there to him. They'll listen eventually Good luck!!!

Re: DH is driving me crazy...
if he wants to stick his head in the sand like that, he should be prepared to wait a looooooooong time for you to get pregnant.
seriously though, while i appreciate his desire to 'do things naturally' that doesn't mean he shouldn't at least be aware of the basic fundamentals of how your body works and your monthly cycle. It's something the two of you are going through together, so he should want to be a part of it. Not just 'hey, we do it without protection and you get pregnant'
i'm guessing after a few months of nothing happening (if nothing does happen, of course you want it to before then) he'll change his tune.
good luck!
