DH and SA question
We have been trying since February. My doctor said if we are not pregnant after a year of trying than I should call her and we'll take it from there. That gives us 4 more months. When could do go for a SA just in case? Should he wait a year also? What kind of doctor does this? Thanks!

We had a SA after a year of trying - although we already knew we had MF issues, we were waiting to change insurance companies. We had it done at our RE.

If something doesn't seem right, there's no harm in asking for a script. Your dr can give him a prescription to go. We also went after a year of trying. He will have to go to a urologist.
A word of advice, try to see a urologist that specializes in infertility.. believe it or not, they don't all sspecialize in it. Your gyn should be able to recommend one. It will save time as my dh went to one and then had to go to someone else because it wasnt his "specialty" smh..

My gyn gave us the script for DH. He never saw a urologist but his came back fine.
