Dh and I need a new tv show to watch
Dh and I tend to watch "marathons" of movies/tv, and we're looking for something new to watch
We just started Once Upon a Time, and are now caught up
We don't watch a ton of TV though-we keep up with big bang theory and how i met your mother, and dh like gold rush but other than that we don't really watch much tv
any suggestions? we have a netflix account, so things on there would be awesome

I really love Law and Order SVU. It's my guilty pleasure - new and old ones. They are always on so when I see my DVr I always have a bunch.
I heard Homeland is really good.

We watch Gold Rush, Bering Sea Gold, Sons of Anarchy, The League, Always Sunny, Boardwalk Empire, Game of Thrones, Ax Men, Moonshiners., Community, 30 Rock and The Office.
Some with more regularity than others, some we DVR and some we watch on Netflix or Hulu.

DH and I also do this. (Watch tv shows on netflix in marathons)
Our top 3 on netflix right now are:
FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS!! full series
LOST!! full series
MAD MEN (however, they don't have the entire series up yet because it is still on the air)
I also really enjoyed:
-FREAKS AND GEEKS (got cancelled so the series is very short, you can watch this super quick)
-the tudors (didn't like it very much at first, but then it gets better and grows on you)
-battlestar galactica (this was GREAT, but you have to like sci-fi)
-weeds (also not the complete series yet. and this series has just been going downhill)
-Alias
-my so called life (super old, but good)

Desperate Housewives!
It ended last year but if you never watched it, you will get addicted. I started watching the Season 1 DVD when the show was up to Season 4 and I got hooked. My DH used to watch it with me though he won't admit it.

DH & I love doing this. We will get a few seasons of something and catch up with it. We started with Criminal Minds and then moved on to Bones. We recently just re-watched the whole first season of American Horror Story (the first one).

On a different note, sometimes DH and I will watch the cheesy "reality shows" like on MTV or Bravo.
The re-runs are on constantly and you don't have to go back multiple seasons to figure out what is going on.
Although it can be argued you lose out on precious time and braincells. 
Lately, I've put on Buckwild.
I grew up Upstate, and I swear, some of the people on that show remind me of people I went to highschool with.
