DH and Dr. visits
Does your DH come in the room with you when you get weighed?
I usually have my DH wait outside and come in after but today the nurse had someone else's chart and had to transfer my information over and announced my weight right in front of my DH. I know I am proably being silly but how do you girls handle the weigh in and your DH?

He's always in the room with me when I get weighed. It honestly doesn't bother me- we are supposed to gain weight, so it is what it is.

dh only comes to the appointments when i have a sono.
when go for my monthly i always tell him my weight. doesnt bother me

The nurse usually shows him what exam room I'll be in and then takes me down the hall to do my weigh-in, BP, etc. I wouldn't think twice though if he was in the room for any of it.

He's always there and KNOWS BETTER than to make a comment. I lost the weight pretty fast after DD so again...he KNOWS BETTER than to make a comment...Although he did tell someone this w/e I seem a lot bigger this time.

DH comes into the room with me. I don't mind if he hears my weight. We're supposed to be gaining! I feel more uncomfortable when the doctor does an internal exam with DH in the room.

He doesn't come to dr. appts like these. But if he did, I wouldn't care. I mean, he's my husband - I don't see what the big deal is.

This. But, I don't volunteer my weight unless he asks and even then, I'll just tell him how much I have gained since my last visit, lol. I like that number better.

When my doctor's office takes my weight they have DH wait in the exam room. They take my weight in a different area and they never announce it. It's weird that she would say your weight out loud.

My DH never came to appt with me unless it was one of the big sono appts. But I never hid my weight from him. And he never cared how much I weighed. He was the one going out to the store at 11pm to buy ice cream so he new that I was not 120lbs
The weight all comes off after so I wouldn't worry about keeping it from him.

Dh only goes to visits with big sono's. My office only allows the husband to come in to see the sono, not while I am getting weighed etc.. They make all the DH's/SO's wait in the waiting room until they are called in.

I weigh myself all the time at home (and announce it) so he knows how much I'm gaining...but we always make a comment that the Dr's office scales adds 2 lbs extra.
DH is always in the room with me but only comes to appts when something big happens like test results or sono.

I dont care if he knows. He didn't know my pre-pregnancy weight and he can see that I am huge!! He does tell me I look great but he must be lying!!

After the things I showed DH yesterday, my weight means nothing!
He always knew how much I weighed before or during pregnancy.

Same. I weight myself at home almost every day and I complain every time the scale goes up and he rolls his eyes and says, "You're pregnant. You should be gaining weight." He's right I guess, lol.

I'm asked to pee and weigh at same time so he's not in the bathroom with me. They ask me how much I weighed when in the room and I say it in front of dh. No biggie...

DH only comes to my sono appointments, but I don't care if he knows how much I weigh. He knew how much I weighed right before I delivered DS. I wouldn't have a problem telling him how much I weigh now.

The scale is in the hall by the bathroom, so they weigh you right after you pee. Dh is usually waiting in the room for me so he doesnt see. But last time, the dr said 'can i discuss #s in front of him?' before mentioning my weight. I was embarassed for a minute, but dh didnt seem to care. I did warn him to NEVER repeat anything about my weight to anyone, ever

My DH comes to every appointment now that I'm at the end and they weigh me with him in the room. Before I get on the scale, I usually make some comment like "look away!" and then he dies and the nurse notes my weight without announcing out loud. I already feel gross and don't want to add to that by informing my husband what my swollen, 9 month self weighs !
