I don't want to give you false hope (or maybe giving you some hope is a good thing), but the same exact thing happened to my sister with her 2nd pregnancy. They rushed her to the ER in the middle of the night, and they were positive she was having a m/c. When they got there, they found that the heartbeat was still nice and strong...turns out she had had a blood clot in her uterus that had ruptured.
