Destination Weddings

Do u guys know where the best ones are? How much does it normally cost? Did anyone do this and have feedback?

After planning one wedding and spending a ton of money and the countless of headaches getting everything perfect... I don't want to do that the 2nd time around. I want to go somewhere gorgeous, simple yet elegant and not have to worry about where I am getting my flowers from, etc.

I'm planning one now. We are Almost definitely going to have it at Paradisus Palma Real in DR. It's my second wedding too and I wanted a destination wedding for the same reason. Choosing the place was more stressful than I thought to find the right place but once that is firmed up it seems like it will definitely be less stressful. Most hotels/resorts offer packages so it makes lots of the decisions for you. I've been looking at the forums and reviews on bestdestinationwedding.com and it has been helpful.

Cost depends on your number of guests and how elaborate you want to make it as well as the resort. I'm hoping our will cost $10000 but it's hard to say until everything is laid out since I'm sure there are hidden costs and add-ons.

We went to las Vegas and got married at the little church of the west on new years eve, 7pm. We stayed for free at the flamingo hotel. (dh gambles at ballys so we were comped). The grounds at the flamingo were really nice. I just wanted to get married at the little church. It was so much fun! Vegas is awesome on new years. We felt like we had a million people at our reception.
