Re: Dental work

you can get dental work done when PG so I dont think its an issue. I heard no gas but local is fine.

You are totally fine. Local anesthetic doesn't affect a fetus. If you feel more comfortable, decline XRays but you'd probably even still be fine if they double-shielded you.

BUT- Get composite fillings (white). Amalgams (silver) haven't had definitive proof that they can cause issues but I wouldn't do it. They ruin your teeth anyway.

Re: Dental work

you are totally fine! i had a root canal done at 19 weeks. they made me wait until after the baby was born to get the post and crown, though. they double shielded me for the xrays.

definitely get it done sooner than later, pregnancy can bring out the worst in your teeth.
