Denny's opening on LI
I was driving on middle country rd near the olive garden ( selden,I think), and I saw they are building a Denny's there, looks almost done!

Yeah, it's opening in what used to be the old Sizzler.
Should be interesting to see how it will compete with the LI diners.

I'm afraid it'll put the Suffolk Diner out of business! I love that diner! I actually thought it would be a Panera before they put the sign up. Damn Denny's!

I think the Suffolk Diner will be fine...that place is ALWAYS packed and Denny's doesn't offer everything the diner does. It better not go out of business!!

I highly doubt Denny's will make a diner go out of business. LOL If IHOP hasn't... Denny's sure won't.

My MIL said she heard on News12 that a Denny's will also be opening on Hempstead Tpke in Levittown but I cant find any information on this.
