denied due to IVF..
Dh and I have been getting things in order and decided to get Life insurance. So besides the fact that I have gone to an RE for the past year I am in pretty much perfect health. I was denied for life insurance because IVF can result in multiple high risk pregnancy.!! DENIED I am so ****** off. They will reconsider if I have a single pregnancy.
Can you imagine?

I got life ins when DD was around 8 or 9 months (I think) and they never asked,I never told.

What? We just got life insurance and they know I am seeing an RE because I had to tell them about my glucose intolerance (which the RE found and they needed the records), but they never asked about IVF or any of our fertility treatments. I have a GREAT agent if you want his info.

That's just stupid and glad you didn't give them your money. They spared you. Go somewhere else. My insurance guy is well aware of our IF issues and he didn't even put that down in his files.

That is ridiculous...I got denied from disability when were doing our Life ins bc I went to see a therapist before my wedding...I lost my dad when I was 7 so it was super hard for me..They are gross if you ask me!!!

I'm not surprised. DH & I were trying to get health insurance on our own (with no maternity coverage) and were told that if the ins. co. finds out I was treated for infertility, I would not be covered for 3 YEARS!!! I was told the same reason (risk of multiples.) They seem to think that even after being off if the drugs, I could have multiples and that could effect my health. The broker we were working with said it used to be 5 years. So ridiculous.

OMG that is disgusting. There is nothing wrong with that.
Thats the problem with health insurance they dont want to pay for wellness just treating sickness.
