Delivery Spinoff...Good Sam Deliveries
Any feedback on delivering at Good Sam?
How is the maternity ward, how freely do they give away the goods? How much time does the baby spend in the room?
TIA

Good Sam is excellent. They bring you a fresh set of "goods" every time they bring the baby. You are allowed to keep the baby with you as much as you like. They only take the baby from you 2x a day when the pediatrician comes.

Re: Delivery Spinoff...Good Sam Deliveries
My son was in the NICU so I can't say how much time babies spend in the rooms but I loved GOOD SAM!!!!! They gave me tons of formula to go home with as well as cloths for wipes, binkies, and ofcourse the blankets they use. I loved my LDR nurse, and the nursing staff on the post partum floor.

Obviously did not deliver yet, but they did say you can keep the baby in the room all the time if you want, but if you even have to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night you have to call the nurse in,

Re: Delivery Spinoff...Good Sam Deliveries
i delivered there in july... i cannot say enough wonderful things about them! i loved everything about my stay with the exception of the 1.5 days i had a roommate it was alittle tight. they were on top of the pain management i never had to ask for anything except when i had my blood transfusion i needed something becasue it was worse then any pain i had ever felt. they gave us bags and bags of stuff to go home with. i think i came home with 98 bottles of formula needless to say she was allergic to it so i passed it to my nephew. they were so fantastic. oh and abby was not allowed to sleep in the room with me.. but i can honestly say i didnt want her to. it was nice to get a good nights sleep they only came in 1 time a night to check my bp. she was in the room with us from 9am till 11pm they only took her 2 xs a day for a few mins

This is good to know. I'll be delivering there and was curious about the experience as well.
