When is AF due? I see that you're using FR tests, so maybe the dr's test just wasn't as sensitive? Is it really early?
I hope that it's a true BFP!!

My AF was due like 6 days ago. I mean, the Dr was nice and everything, the same thing happened to my SIL. Just got me really down, and now it's hard to stay positive!

Hang in there...
I feel like the doctor cant say much until they see your bloodword. They dont want to give you false hope. The test your doctor gave you is probably not as sensitive as the home pregnancy test you took, the blood work will reveal whatever is going on!

OMG that happened to me on Thursday at the ER!!
I got my BFP last Monday.
I tested every day and it was + and I did another dig Thursday morning and it was +
Thursday night I went to ER for fever and I thought I had the flu so I wanted to get checked out. They took my urine and tested and she said "it shows negative" I was numb. Then 2 minutes later she looks and shes like "OMG Opps its positive".
I wanted to smack her!!! but mine took a few mins to show up and that could of been your case since we are so early.
Hang in there I know exactly what you went through.
They also took Bloodwork and it was confirmed I was pregnant.
PS: Those test are like the Dollar tree tests, the ones where you can barely see the line. Did your Dr throw it out as soon as she saw the results? Luckily my Dr still kept mine on the counter.

I took a test on Wednesday and it was negative. Then I took a First Response on Friday w/FMU and there was a faint line. OMG!! So I couldn't even believe it. So on my lunch break, I ran to CVS and bought a Digital. (First Response). That said YES+!!! I called and made an appointment w/my OBGYN. I took another digital (Clear Blue) on Saturday and it said Pregnant!! Then Today before I went to the Doctor, I took another Digital (First Response) and it also said YES+.
So I get to the doctor today and they make me take one of their tests and it was NEGATIVE!!! ***?!?!?!?!?!
Got me sooo down. I mean when you take 4 tests at home and they are all positive and then you go for real confirmation and that says negative, it is upsetting!
They sent me for blood work, which I was lucky enough to get done today, so they said the results should be in tomorrow. We will see, but how confident can I or should I be right now?
Sorry this is so long, just needed to vent. Will update when I hear the news.
I guarantee you are pregnant!!!! The same thing happened with my first pregnancy....i took home tests and all positive....i went to the doctor and the nurse swore i wasnt. I was freaking out the dr told me dont worry about it go for blood work that they buy the cheapest tests and they are horrible. Needless to say my DD will be 2.

The test did look like a Dollar Tree test!! The NA who did the test was such a beyotch!! She did keep it on the counter for a while, but kept like hitting it against the counter, then (TMI) she took another test and took the last drop of pee of of the sick and tried another test!!! EWWW! She's like, oh there's not enough here, can you go try to pee again!!!! Of corase I couldn't! After the Dr's appt, we ran and got my blood taked. The girl at the Lab said I should I have the results back today.
Wow!! I'm pretty gure you are pregnant...keep us updated!!

I want to piggyback on everyone else's experiences...when I went to the doctor last June or July and said "I think I'm pregnant" she did 2 quick urine tests because I insisted the 1st one was incorrect but either she discarded them too quickly or they were too cheap to detect my levels early on because she said they were both - and I was pg. I was seriously ******.
