Deed question
We closed on a refi at the end of April, and I had the lawyer change the name on the deed from my maiden to married name. I still haven't received anything in the mail, but I don't remember it taking this long when we first closed on our house... any idea what is the "norm" to receive a new deed?

Re: Deed question
It typically takes several months. The deed will get returned to the party listed on the second page bottom right corner. Many times it gets sent to the attorney rather than the owner. You should call your attorney.

Re: Deed question
I work for an attorney's office in Suffolk County. We are just getting the beginning of June deeds back. I would call your attorney's office and follow up.
