Decorate for Fall or the party?
My DD's christening party is at our house on 10/3. I will have some christening decorations in the house for it, mainly in the dining room (centerpiece, tablecloth, dessert table). It's a pink and white zebra theme.
Should I put up my usual Fall decorations in the adjoining formal living room (mantel decor, etc...) Or just leave it plain, as-is for the party?

I would leave it plain-- you can change out whatever after the party.

I say put up your fall decorations--maybe don't go all out with the Halloween ghosts and goblins, but things like a nice fall wreath, orange candles, and a decorative bowl of mini pumpkins would make the house look cozy
