Dear RUDE Teacher
My office is not a teacher's lounge. I actually have to work. It's bad enough that I can hear your 6,000 decibel voice when you're teachihng two doors down, but you do NOT need to come into my office, plop yourself down at a nearby desk and scream into your cellphone. I don't care about your ski trip and your tuna fish sandwiches, I'm sure the client I'm on the phone with (and the person across the room from her who can also hear you) might be riveted by it, but that is not the purpose.
While I'm sure you're just trying to be nice by leaving presents for me and my co-workers, I don't need to come in to find yesterday's paper. I know you thought I might be hungry, but I will never be hungry enough to eat the McDonalds food I found on my desk the next morning.
And could you not leave black marker all of the place? And for heaven's sake PUSH the chair in, don't leave it halfway across the room.
And if you insist on using my office as your own personal lounge when I'm trying to get actual work done, at least say hello, though I know asking politely first is beyond your ken.
Much Love, A Manager with a headache, who unfortunately isn't YOUR manager and can't discipline your rude azz.

I work at a test prep center.
The problem with this guy is he's been around for 20+ years and he's really good, so no one will say anything to him. I'm going to have to start locking the door on the nights when he's teaching, but then I lose my ventilation and lock out my own tutors.
It just gets to me that he is SO incredibly rude. One day I came in and found the remnants of a McDonald's dinner on my desk, and he frequently leaves marker marks everywhere (what the hell is he doing?)...

Re: Dear RUDE Teacher
I would say something.... clearly he is not cleaning up after himself so he must know that you know he's in there.

He doesn't care. He comes in while I am in there on the phone with a client and starts gabbing away on the cellphone.
There's an open area near the lobby with computers that are usually vacant at night. Why he chooses to park himself in my office I don't know.
I've said stuff to his managers because I figured coming from them he might listen, but they won't say anything to him.
I'm just going to start locking the door when I know he's coming, which is totally stupid... but it's also stupid to barge into someone's office and take over.
