I HATE NorthFork. If I didn't have auto deduct on some things I would switch in a heart beat!!
It's just such a hastle to change my auto deducts!!

We have our car loans through them. They are HORRIBLE. They sat on one of my checks FOR A WEEK once to the point that it was "late" when they finally cashed it. I had to pay the late feel the next month. So ****** off.
But Capital One bought them, I odn't think the merger is complete but hopefully they'll be changes made for the better.

i feel your pain,
Doug accidentally paid one of our bills from my accoutn which was almost empty at the time, so they CLOSED my account because it was overdrawn by like $35, which was msotly due to the overdraft charge. And they treated me like total crap over it. It was a MISTAKE!
Meanwhile I have thousands in savings at that bank..so it made NO sense to close my checking over $35
