Dear Hannah,
You just gave me another emotional breakdown.
I let you play and talk in your crib when I put you down for a nap...After 45 minutes, I decided to go in and pick you up and rock you.
You fell asleep on my chest for the first time in ages. Your little body twitched as you fell asleep and hey!, I didn't know that every once in a while you snore!
And so, I cried.
I cried because Mommy is going back to work next week, and even as I write this, I miss you already. I am going to miss hearing you wake up in the morning, as you laugh and push your mobile 10 times until, finally, you call for mama to come in a get you. I am going to miss watching you shovel Multi Grain Cheerios in your mouth, as the milk dribbles down your chin (can't you even feel that???!!). I'll miss watching you stuff 4 grapes in your mouth and seeing the juice spirt out..........
I am just going to miss you, that's all. Don't worry though, hopefully in a year I'll be home again for another year, and you can help mommy and be the best big sister ever.
So thank you... My eyes are puffy and I turn to LIF to get it all out. Honestly, thank you for teaching me what being a mom was all about. You are my little girl, my bestis friend already...and I love you....
