Dear Darling Step Daughter..
...could you please give me a little bit of a break today?
I love you and your sister very much..
Asking you not to eat pretzel nuggets in the livingroom was not really such a horrible thing...you see the baby could choke on them and die...and well you were throwing them up in the air and catching them in your mouth and well the ones that you didnt catch you didnt really care about picking them up...so now, neurotic mommy that I am, I have to look high and low for any errant nuggets..
I asked you very nicely..didnt nag..asked if you could please either eat elsewhere or pick a different snack..I didnt ask you to do anything that I wouldnt of asked my girls to do...in fact I was actually nicer to you than I would of been had one of the twins been doing it..so why now do I get the silent treatment???
I just cant win

I rather them be mad at me then the baby to get hold of them. I could live with that silent treatment. They just dont understand your trying to do the right thing.
