Dear Bowels,
Dear Bowels,
I understand you have been under a lot of stress these past few months.
I know expecting you to be regular is a LOT to ask right now, and something I certainly do not expect of you.
I know I have been taking a constipating medication as well, and you have really been on the receiving end of a lot of changes.
I know that I have been eating some things that you never had to digest before, due to my unsuaual cravings for sugar and junk I never had the taste for.
See how understanding I am???
Now, when the mood strikes you to ahem... move... WHY, oh why my darling bowels, why must it always be when I am at WORK????
I have been understanding to you, now you'll have to be understanding with me, and wait a few more hours....
And, while I'm addressing you in such a formal way, could you let up a little with the gas? You made your point....
Sincerely, the rest of the body - especially the part that still has a LOT of work to do today

I take one occasionally - just one a day - things are getting better - I usually do it as a precaution - I am in a lot of schools doing school observations- I'm not sure how teachers would feel about their visitor vomiting loudly into their waste paper basket!

oh forget about it - when I 1st took Zofran - it was DAYS until I could take the most painful poop ever... sorry - TMI - but it was like giving birth, I think... I did do metamucil which helped a little - after a while, my body got used to the Zofran, but the beginning was very very tough - but the Zofran kept me out of the hospital, so I'm not complaining!!!

Re: Dear Bowels,
I had the same problem FOREVER--but I started taking FIBER CHOICE, they are tablets that are like TUMS that you can take 2 a day and OMG did they help! I have tried skipping a few days and I always regret it. It worked better than Metamucil and they have Calcium in them too. Definately try it!
