Deanna's Plan Question
I tested positive on a digital opk on cycle days 10 and 11. I never test two days in a row. I only tested twice this month because I thought we may miss on day 11 and I wanted to see if I was still surging or not.
If I am trying Deanna's Plan I should use day 10 as the start and forget that I tested again on 11? Is that correct?
Today is day 12. We on 6, 8, 10 and 11. I'm not sure if this matters but I think I released the egg by now. I have terrible ovulation pains that peaked last night and were gone this morning.
Any advice? I am thinking 10, 11, 12 skip 13 and again on 14? Or should we try to on 13 as well just for good measure?

Re: Deanna's Plan Question
I was thinking that also, that more can't hurt, right?
Last month we on days 6, 8, 10, 11 (day 11 was the positive), 13 and 15. I was going for Deanna's Plan but we ended up missing the day after the positive. I did not become pregnant. I knew the day after :) was an important day but it was so stressful and there was so much pressure being it was our first try since having a miscarriage. So this month I want to make sure I cover all of the important days.
I did get pregnant on the first try with the pregnancy that I lost and we had sex 2-3 times a week at the maximum and I had no clue when I was fertile. We did nowhere near this much babymaking.
It's almost like the harder you try the less successful you are. At least that is what last month felt like.

Re: Deanna's Plan Question
for your lost
I don't tell DH our schedule...if he knew it would definitely take away all romance & spontaneity Baby making is stressful & can become a chore.

Thank you.
Unfortunately my husband is too smart for his own good. He knows how the female body works and even though I'm not testing in front of him or telling him "the schedule" he has a good idea of when I'm fertile and how often we should be having sex. On top of that, he can notice the changes down there when it's close to ovulation . So it isn't that easy to be spontaneous.
Add to that I have to use an opk because my progesterone is being tested every cycle in case I become pregnant. I'm on doctors orders to use the opk. So even I can't relax about it. I figure if I have to test I might as well attach a plan to it, kwim?
I wish it could be like the first time, just make love whenever, no opk, no plan. It was so much more fun that way.
I think I'm going to have to start earlier in my cycle though. Last month I :) on day 11 and this month day 10. Both months we started on day 6. Both months day 6 was spontaneous and not part of the "planned" days but I think I'll have to start on day 4 or 5 because everything I read seems to indicate that the earlier you start before the :) the better. At that point I still have AF though

Re: Deanna's Plan Question
Well, if you are following Deanna's place then technically you covered your basis. The plan says to the day of your positive OPK and then the following two days, skip a day and then one last So you should have CD10, 11 and 12 skip CD13 then CD14 HOWEVER like the other girls said, the more the better! So if you can get in another session in there go for it!
