DD HATES the bath!
Anyone else go through this and have some suggestions on what could make it a happier experience? She is 6 weeks old. She also hates getting changed!

Maybe try putting like little toys in there or rubber ducks...make it a little fun for her!
As for the changing..my DD screams bloody murder everytime I change her...it's a wrestling match...so no advice there!!! I tried making a song out of it, everything possible..she just hates it!

I keep thinking that if the windows were open, and the neighbors heard her when she gets changed, they would call Child Protective Services on me! It's like I'm torturing her! Glad to know I'm not the only one though

6 weeks is still so young! DD hated the bath when that little too but now LOVES it. Give it time....

funny story...well not really funny but one day I actually had the windows open when I was changing her. When I went outside, the neighbors said that they actually heard her screaming! I was like yep, that's my DD...what a pair of lungs!!

yup that was my ds too- now he loves the bath! What I do is steam up the bathroom with the shower on the hottest spray and then I turn that down and fill his little tub- the outside air isnt so cold for him that way

This helped a lot for DS! He hated the bath, so DH and I dreaded bath night. It made it so much more enjoyable.

Just gave her a bath (started doing them in the afternoons because it got her so annoyed - didn't think that was good for bedtime!) and putting the warm wash cloth over her worked! No tears...until I took her out, of course...and then she peed on the towel. Ha. Baby steps!
