DC's Reaction to 2 Month Immunizations

DS had his 2 month check up yesterday and received shots (DTaP, HBOC, Polio, Rotovirus, Prevnar 13 Valent...looking at ped. receipt). He had a slight fever last night around 99-100 so we gave him some infant fever reducer as per the ped's orders. No fever today but very sleepy. If you can remember, how did your DC react to their immunizations? Is sleepiness the next day normal? How many days does it take to recover?

DD never got a fever but she did sleep more the day of the shot if I recall.
It was a blessed side effect since she never slept at all as a newborn!
It was gone by the next day!

DD was a little extra sleepy the day of and next day but then she was back to normal.

DS's reaction seems just like your DS's. He was more sleepy for the day of the shots as well as the next day.

DD got her vaccination around 1pm. She slept all the way home (only 10 minutes ride) and slept the whole day. She only woke up for feeding. At 8pm that night, she woke up SCREAMING her head off. I picked her up, rocked her, changed her diaper, I knew she wasn't hungry since she ate at 7pm but nothing worked! She turned all blue and red in the face and screaming crying for about 5 minutes. She had a reaction to one of the vaccination. Her thigh was red and swollen! She finally fell asleep after 5 minutes. Her swelling went away quickly and she was back to her normal self the next day. No fever.
