? about 2 month check up and immunizations
do you remember how many DC got?
My sister said she staggered them; so my nephew had 2 shots and a drink of something; but not 3 or 4 shots
anyone else?

we only did two vaccines at a time. I think the drink is a polio vaccine.. dont remember if dd got that.. i know i did as a kid.

DS got 1 shot and 1 oral.......it was rotavirus (oral) and the shot was pentacel which contained the DTap, Hib, & Polio.

DD got 2 shots. We never allow more than 2 per visit. She is on an alternate schedule. She never had the Rotavirus drink.

Instead of getting 2 shots and a drink, DD only got one shot. I opted no to the Rotavirus drink.

Nicholas got 2 shots and the oral rotavirus drink, our ped only does 2 shots at a time.

Just an FYI- most PEDs do 2 shots. But those 2 shots have 4 or 5 vaccines in them.

exactly - was just going to post this.
at 2 months DS got the DTAP and PREVNAR shots and the oral rotovirus vaccine.
DTAP is for Diphtheria, tetanus and pertussis, and PREVNAR is the "Prevnar containea pneumococcal conjugate vaccine (PCV) and is used to prevent infection caused by pneumococcal bacteria. PCV contains 7 different types of pneumococcal bacteria."

2 shots and one oral, the first shot shot was a biggie called Pentacel, which is Dtap, Hib, and polio, the second shot was prevnar for Pneumococcal, and the oral was for rotovirus
