DC who sleep on another floor from you
I think, in the future, DC will sleep on the top floor of our cape and DH and I will sleep on the main floor.
For BTDT moms, how do you keep your toddler / young child from getting out of bed, climbing down the stairs, getting into general trouble? 
I've thought about baby gates and monitors, of course, but I'm wondering how practical that is with potty training (only one bath in the house, on the main floor).

it depends on the child.. my kids did it at first but I just kept putting them back in and they behavior just completely stopped once they got the gist that I wasn't putting up with it!
