Daylight savings time and Sleep Issues?
With the occassional teething issues, DS has always been a great sleeper and napper. Down at 7pm up around 6:30-7:30. Even two weeks ago when he had a cold, was all congested and couldnt breathe out of his nose, he still kept to this schedule. However, since we turned the clocks back, he has been up at 5am. I have been leaving him in his crib, but come 5:30 he is screaming to get out. I let him scream but come 6am, I take him out. Now because he wake up time is early, it is throwing off his nap schedule. I have still been managing to get him to bed at 7pm but last night he went down at 7 but woke up at 9:00 screaming (almost like he only took a nap). After checking to make sure he was alright and his diaper was clean (it was) I let him CIO for 45 minutes He would not go back to sleep. I went back in and picked him up, he immediately calmed down, put his head on my shoulder and fell asleep. I put him back in the crib and he screamed. I did this twice and the same thing. Finally, I got a bottle of water, handed it to him in the crib and finally he went back to sleep. I dont know if this is a teething thing that happens to coincide with DLST? Or its just DLST? But since the turning back of the clocks when everyone has gained an hour I have LOST many hours! Has this happened to anyone else? Will DS eventually get back on the schedule we had? Should I adjust something? Any advice is appreciated!

Yes, I was wondering the same thing..DS woke twice last night, and was raring to go at 5 this morning....I cansee how waking early would be DLST, but why the waking during the night???
Either way, it started on Sunday night...so who the heck knows...
My friend said her DD went through separation anxiety just before a year, so not sure if this could be it, too. I am sure it is just a phase, and since I don't have a clear answer for myself, I am likely going to be no help to you.
Perhaps ust the support of knowing my ds is totally out of whack, too ...and I am awake for no reason at an early hour...lol

Re: Daylight savings time and Sleep Issues?
My DD has been doing the same thing. Before Sunday, she always slept 7-6:30/7 but now is waking up at 5:30ish and ready to start the day.
I pray this is short lived cause I am definitely not ready to start the day at 5:30.
