daycare rec's
Looking for a rec for a daycare for my soon to be 6 week old son- Nassau County (we live in Oceanside)
prob 2-3 days a week
pref an at home day care facility
Please recommend the name and price range you are paying

Not an at home center, but have heard good things about the JCC in oceanside.
We use Harbor, at RexCorp in Uniondale.

Also not an at home facility but my daughter goes to Loving and Learning in Oceanside and we are very happy with it although I will say they close for every holiday known to man and then some which can be frustrating. She has learned so much there and all of her teachers have been great.

We use Rascal House on Fairview Ave O'side. Love them! Not an at home center though. We switched to them from at home when DS was 1. Great place and reasonable compared to most other daycares in O'side. Was paying $920/month when it was just DS (going 4 days a week). A few dollars more as an infant ($950). 536-2424. Recommend you check out a bunch to get a feel for different places. One of the things I really like about a center is that the kids are separated by age. I think there is less separation in a home based daycare. DS is with about 10-11 4 year olds. Good luck!
