Did you give your DC's teacher a thank-you gift when your DC graduated to the next room?
DD just went from the infant room to the toddler room and I'm thinking I probably should have given her infant teacher a thank you gift.
What's the norm here?

I usually do but, I think I am in the minority at my daycare because the teachers often looked shocked.

We didn't but that sounds like a really nice idea! I'm so dumb with this stuff, I wish I had thought of it.
We did give a gift to one of her teachers when she left though, she got a teaching job and moved out of state. She was great and we were so sad to see her go!

If he wasn't in their class for xmas time (because I give a gift then) then I did. Now that he is in a 2 yr old room and will be there for the year I will only give a xmas gift.

Yes....we just did this last week as well. I also gave them Christmas gifts and will do a little something (definitely smaller than Christmas and Move Up) for Teacher Appreciation next week.
I do know I am in the less commonplace though as they genuinely were touched and shocked.
Next gift won't be till Christmas.
