Day 5 Blast
So here I am ... they called me this morning about transferring to Day 5. I feel more comfortable transferring one blasto that is day five than a couple of Day 3. I know it is no guarantee but does anyone have experience with Day 5 blastos? I am 40 aand trying to avoid multiples since I already have a naturally concieved 19 month old DS. Anyone familiar with the thawing of them if I need to and if I am lucky to do this?

Re: Day 5 Blast
My was a 5dt blast. Now we are trying for our second and doing a FET using a single thawed blast. Fingers crossed for both of us.

Re: Day 5 Blast
Best of luck to you two! I've transferred 5 of my embryos on Day 5 during a natural cycle, and 2 FETs. With my last FET I had thawed my last 2 and only 1 made the thaw.

Re: Day 5 Blast
I don't have experience but I would love to wish you happy thoughts! I know that I will be having a 5dt of hopefully 2 in about a month. Here is to hoping all of us are successful!
