damn error readings! UPDATE 2....need help!
im pretty annoyed ....i got two error readings on my opk's two days in a row .....good thing i usually o on day 13 to 15 and its only day 11 but i better not miss it because of this!!!
i got the cbe digital smiley opk's month long supply ..i used them last month too, does that mean the test stick is old or something now hence the errors? wwyd, should i buy a new pack?
ETA- UPDATE QUESTION: so i just got a smiley face.....so here's the thing i got a negative yesterday morning but in order for me not to miss the smiley i tested last night and thats when i got the error and then i woke up this morning and got an error....but then i got a smiley face a little while ago.....its kind of early for me to o.....like i said i usually o around cd 13-15 ish .....
so my question is could the smiley not be right because i got two error readings last night and this morning? help!
UPDATE #2 so i called the # on the pkg and i told the lady about the two errors and then the smiley and shes going to send a new pkg in the mail.....
and when i asked what she thought about the validity of the smiley, she said in other words, the smiley is a smiley and that's that basically because its a new stick thats getting read.....she said if i wanted to test again later to make sure i could do that too which i will most likely do.....
but what do you girls think? i do get o cramps/pains and now that im thinking of it i do feel crampy so i guess im just o'ing early for me?

Call the number on the package and they'll send you a new pack. Where do you live? I have 2 boxes I will be giving away once I confirm my pregnancy is viable but I can give you the half empty box with the wand I know that works. I live in Bay Shore.

thats what i will do! only thing is they probably wont send a new box within the next 3 or 4 days im guessing which is when i think i will o ......and thank you for the offer but im in queens.....i think ill buy a small box just in case

maybe they can just reimburse you for the box you buy? That's so frustrating though.
Do you dip the stick or do you just POAS? I found the dip method gave me less errors. JMO

If you get more than one error the stick is defective is what their rep told me.

You can ovulate from 12-48 hours after a +OPK. That would take you from CD12 - CD14 which is around the days you thought you'd ovulate.

No. You are not 1DPO until you ovulate. You can not tell if you ovulated just by the OPK. The OPK can only tell you that you have a surge.
Would you consider temping? Because temping is a more accurate way of telling that you ovulated and then you'll be able to start counting DPO.
Counting DPO with your OPK is just an estimate. So say you got your smiley today then you will most likely (in an ideal world) ovulate tomorrow. Then you would start counting Thursday as 1DPO.

Agree with all the PPs. If you think you'll O around CD13, then you should get a +OPK on CD11. Your surge is about 36 hours before you O, putting you at CD13. CD14, therefore, would be 1DPO.
This is all an approximation, but it's not more than 1-2 days off. If you BD the next few days you'll be covered. Unless you have fertility issues, I wouldn't get hung up on a day or 2.
