daddy daughter public bathrooms question
which bathroom does your husband bring your daughter into when they go out together? the mall restaurants etc??
usually we are always together daughter is 4.5 so to young to go in by herself which bathroom should he take her too just hit me now never really put thought into it. Just wondering what everyone else does? Also does smith haven mall have a family bathroom???

If it was just daddy daughter and there was no family separate bathroom then he'd have to use the men's room. There is not option at that point.

My DH has taken Emerson into the men's bathroom in one of the stalls. You do what you have to do, sometimes it's unavoidable, especially because she's too young to go into a bathroom alone.

Exactly.
I wouldn't blink an eye if a mother brought her young son into the women's room, but I would not be comfortable with a grown man in the women's room. He just has to take her into the men's room with him.

I agree with the PP's. Until a child us old enough to go by themselves, they have to go in the bathroom of the gender of the adult.

DD is 2 1/2 and DH takes her into the mens room with him. Kids go into the adults gender specific bathroom. Kids are little and shouldn't worry about which gender goes into what room---they just need a toilet to go!
