D/C ...
Has anyone ever had their doctor do a D/C to "clear the slate"? During my surgery my GYN did a HSG and a D/C in addition to removing the cyst and flushing my tubes...
Also, if I had a D/C - but was not PG - would that screw up my cycle?

I had an HSG but not a D/C. I would just call the doc and ask. I would want to know how it may/may not affect my cycle.

I had a d&c years ago for some uterine issues that I was having & even though it's been a while I don't believe that it messed with my cycle. After my m/c in June though it took an extra week for af to show (I had a 35 day cycle)...I don't know if that was due to the m/c or the d&c itself though...Sorry - not much help, I know
