Curtain for window
I need help! I have this big window and have no clue what kind of curtain to get. I bought a rod but was wondering do I put in to the ceiling or right above the window? Does the length run to the end of the window or to the baseboard? Any ideas would be really appreciated!
TIA

Re: Curtain for window
i would get 2 curtain panels and tie them back and maybe get roman blinds or shades. I got my curtains and blinds from JC penny.

Re: Curtain for window
I usually hang it about 5 inches down from the ceiling and past the window width by about the same.. that way, when they are open, they don't block any sunlight coming in from the windows and at the same time, they give the appearance of a bigger window

We did the 2 curtain panels tied back with a white sheer un the middle. We got our curtains from Bed bath and beyond.

Re: Curtain for window
We had the same window in our old house. I never hung curtains, I hung roman shades in each winnow. I liked that I could open the 2 end ones and leave the middle closed.

Re: Curtain for window
i hung mine right below the crown moulding (so 5 inches from the ceiling). the curtains need to touch the floor at the very least.
