No-I don't curse much to begin with but I really try to avoid it completely in public.

Re: Cursing in public

I have such a potty mouth, but I really try my best to curb it when we're in public, especially if kids are around. But honestly, they do come out.

Re: Cursing in public

How about on a train while you are on the phone?

that was my experience with a little princess last night.

She was talking to her BFF and every other word was f*ck.

Now I curse but I would never do that in a public place like that.

She had no regard for anyone around her.

I try not to curse in public but it does happen.

In your situation, I think the girl was a bit out of line.

But, it seems that the "f" word has become more of a common word. I don't understand why but I find it's being used more and more (noticably with younger people) and not in a "cursing, angry" way.

Ie. "Check out this pair of shoes, aren't they f*cking awesome??"

Sounds dumb to me but maybe I'm just getting old and grouchy! Chat Icon

Re: Cursing in public

Hey I can curse with the best of them. I've got curses no one would think could come out of my mouth.

I just would never say f*cking retarded (which is offensive no matter what) and do it on a train with 100 others around me.

She sounded like a low class bimbo with no manners.
