Re: cup for 2 year old
DS is 21 months. It's great no leaks and no spouts. Like using a real cup.

Re: cup for 2 year old
DS is 28 months and uses regular open top ikea kids cups at home. If we are out to eat he uses a regular kids cup with a straw. We keep water bottles in the car for the kids to drink. So he uses what ever is available No more toddler/sippy cups. He has been off those for a few months now.

This. DS uses straw cups when we are out but at home uses a regular glass.

There is a cover and gasket on the top. The gasket prevents the liquid from coming out if there is no pressure.I like it because he can drive k from every place on the cup. Also DS pulls straws out of cups so they don't work well for us.

My son uses pretty much anything at this point too but for summer I love the Thermos insulated straw cup. If I know we're going to be out all day Ill throw some ice cubes in it and their milk/water and it really stays pretty cold which is super helpful for the milk. I don't know how to post links but this is the style we have and love. Even my 1 year old drinks from it no problem.

It can leak a little if its turned upside down and shaken... Which my daughter occasionally does. But you can close the top and it kind of locks so then there's no problem.
