csection moms
has anyone experienced a sharp, burning pain when coughing or blowing their nose? It actually seems more in the area of my left ovary which worries me since I had my tubes tied. I am 4 months PP. It feel like something is tearing when I blow my nose. SO strange. Much of the area is still numb so if I can feel anything, I wonder what is really going on in there?

I get a stretching like pain (feels I'm going to open up again) when I sneeze cough or laugh too hard. i'm 8 months PP.

Same exact thing happens to me. And also sometimes what the OP asked about. I actually just asked my OB about it the other day (had my annual) and he had an explanation for it ... something about the way the nerves heal/reconnect after the c-section. Said it was nothing to worry about (just have to deal with the annoying momentary pain!).

Same here. Its like round ligament pain all over again. Even 7.5 mo later!

9 months PP and i still get it. Don't forget, they really pull and stretch you to get that baby out. I felt it for about a year after my twins were born. Then i got Pregnant again, so i can't really say if it ever fully went away. I guess i'll find out with this one. But, i am still numb where my incision is.

This seems pretty common! I remember the first year after my csection sneezing or coughing felt like a pulling sensation in my incision area. Even urinating felt weird; probably from the catheter being left in too long. Doing something as simple as twisting too fast felt like a pulling pain.

My doctor said the same thing.
I had sharp pain every once in a while after my first c section but did not experience it with my second. I guess everything reconnected properly with my 2nd c section.
