Crying today...clothes related.

So my maternity clothes are to big for me. I guess that's a good thing right?

But my regular clothes DO NOT fit. The Bella Band is no longer working because I can't even zipper my regular pants up anymore. Chat Icon What can I do?!?!!?

I was so upset this morning because I had no clothes to wear to work and I have to dress sort of nice. (I'm a teacher). Any helpful tips for the in between stage?Chat Icon

I wear the Bella band with my regular pants unzipped. The bella band hols them up well and hides the fact they're unzipped.

When I was at that stage, I wore maternity pants with the bella band...and a lot of dresses with tights and leggings. I actually just started wearing maternity pants without the band, except for 1 pair. I really feel like I got my money's worth with that thing! Try that...leggings are very "in" and who cares if you wear them every day!! Check out H&M maternity for cute long sweaters that you can wear with them. I wear that kind of outfit more often than pants and people compliment my wardrobe all the time.

Early on, the bella band is very helpful at keeping maternity pants up. You should remember this late in your pregnancy too when the pants stop fitting again. Recently, I've resurrected the band and it's been awesome on my no panel pants that now sit under my giant belly and have nothing to hold onto and I can tell I'll need it soon on my full panel pants too! I went through the same stage. A few tips...
I got maternity pants that were basically black pants but they had an elsatic band (not the big one that goes all the way up)
I also got dress pants in JCPenney that were adjustable...so basically they zip and button in front but on the inside you can pull and eslatic band and button in to make it tighter, dort of like the idea of a belt and as you get bigger, you move over a notch.

I also wore long, black yoga pants with non-maternity dress tops that had like an empire waist.

I'm sorry. I know how hard it is. I had the same breakdown when I was pg with ds in the middle of kohls. It gets better. Focus on that....I know its not much help. You can buy bigger size regular clothes but then they don't fit right either. I lived in the elastic waist pants from ny and co.

Hey, I just went on the bella band site and they have leggings and yoga pants that look soooo cute and comfy. I am going to order some when I order the band, you should look into those!

I've been wearing my maternity pants with the bella band throughout my pregnancy - even though technically, the pants aren't that big, they tend to fall down on me.

It's very frustrating!!! Chat Icon
